Junichiro Kusanagi
Hot-headed Tyger Claw enforcer and Motoko's self-appointed older brother. Gave her first weapons, first connections, and first cover story — and is usually the last to know what she's actually doing.

Tall and lanky with the kind of reach that wins fights before they start — Motoko calls them his 'stupid long teenage boy arms' more than once. His hair is a vivid red-orange, worn in a swoopy style that collapses into a mess after a nap. He has progressively replaced most of his body with cyberware across the story: both arms went first after the Maelstrom retribution raid, then chrome legs and subdermal armor plating, until there is more machine than flesh left. He carries an Arasaka katana on his back. The accumulating chrome is a running source of tension — it is also what is slowly pulling him toward cyberpsychosis.

Hot-headed Tyger Claw enforcer who took Motoko in after her rescue, presenting himself as her older brother. Brought her to a cramped Japantown apartment, supplied her first weapons — a Unity handgun and a combat knife — and introduced her to the TC underground shooting range. His connections inside the Tyger Claws gave Motoko her earliest foothold in Night City.
Fiercely protective and often the last to find out about Motoko's more dangerous operations, Jun occupies an awkward position: loyal to the TCs by career but loyal to Motoko above everything else. The sibling dynamic is genuine even if the blood relation is not, and it creates ongoing tension as Motoko's reputation grows far beyond anything he can quietly cover for.
